We partner with area districts to provide the best support to students, families and school faculty. School-Based Services were created as an innovative approach to provide rapid access to care in the school setting.

There are times when a child or youth may benefit from a brief out-of-home placement. This program is open for children and youth aged 5-18 who have severe emotional and behavioral challenges.

Youth aged 12-18 who struggle with substance use. Services provided include individual/group counseling, group education, family therapy, as well as community and peer support.

Prevention Specialists implement psycho-educational group curriculum to provide students K-12 with help to address: bullying, teen-dating violence, grief, loss, violence in the home/community, substance use, suicide awareness and prevention, transition to adulthood and develop emotional intelligence.

It is the goal of CMHS to keep the family unit intact while working with children and youth to build the skills needed for positive peer and family relationships while learning to manage and regulate their emotions and behaviors.
